what we do.
HotTeapots.com is the business of Wim and Nora Varwijk. Many people ask us
how we did come to sell teapots, here is the story: we started collecting
teapots in het late 1980's. Our first one was a cat on a dustbin. We still
have it. Over time we bought teapots in many countries, from large factories,
local potteries, antique stores
and over the internet. Our personal
collection counts to date about 250 different
teapots (if we had more space to exhibit them there would be more).
When we created out personal website in 2001 we listed our collection on
line as well. Since that attracted a lot of attention we decided to create
an on line store and start selling teapots. We
made our first sale in December 2003 and since our business has been growing
steadily. We enjoy the contacts with collectors and customer from all
over the world. End 2004 the space we used in our house ran out, we created
a business plan and we decided to buy a small warehouse with showroom. We
moved our business there in early 2005. Over time we have been
building our assortment and we scan the internet and stores where ever we go
for those good quality and special teapots. Right now we list over 700
products and we will keep refreshing our assortment to add more great
teapots and remove some categories that are less successful.
Our

Our aim is to deliver
promptly and to resolve any issue that may arise. So far we have been
succesful in resolving all issues and should anything go wrong you can
expect open and honest communication. You can visit us on line or make an
appointment to visit us in our showroom (see below). Just give it a try,
