The traditional ceramics of family Dudycha has its sources in the year 1938, when Alois Dudycha, using the model of the Modranska keramika, which he was educated, founded in Litomysl in what is now the Czech Republic a company for commercial ceramics.
His son Jiri also is engaged in ceramics, but also in sculpture.
Jiri Dudycha jun. founded in the year 1990 the studio and mainly is engaged in the production of the white-golden ceramics for use inside and the rougher ceramics to be used outdoors, which his father Jiri Dudycha, sculpturer, designed.
